Support for the efficiency of equipment inspection and condition verification at railway substations. Direct current measurements for each circuit can be utilized for remote monitoring and historical verification.
In monitoring direct current, it is important to select ratings that match the target circuit and to have a configuration that can manage multiple measurement points without difficulty. In railway substations, particularly, the increase in the number of circuits complicates the verification process.
The "iDC-SVS4" continuously measures direct current with sensors compatible with 30A, 50A, 100A, 250A, and 500A, and sends the measurement data to a monitoring server. Current values, load fluctuations, and past history can be checked remotely, and in combination with monitoring software, it can also respond to notifications based on set thresholds.
During communication outages, data is temporarily stored in a relay device and sent after communication resumes to prevent loss of history.
Usage scenarios:
- Monitoring direct current in railway substations
- Checking current values and history of direct circuits for control and operation
- Confirming inspection targets and notification status before on-site visits
Expected benefits from implementation:
- Understanding current changes over time outside of patrols
- Consolidating measurement information from multiple circuits for review
- Organizing inspection targets and confirmation details in advance to streamline equipment management
We will propose configurations based on the monitoring targets, number of circuits, cable diameter, and installation environment. Applicability varies depending on current range, cable diameter, and installation/communication environment.
